The Challenge
The homeowners had a closed-off galley kitchen that didn't work for entertaining. The existing layout wasted space with a peninsula that blocked the flow between the kitchen and living area. Cabinets were original to the 1990s build, and the lighting was dim and outdated.
The Solution
We removed the peninsula and part of a non-load-bearing wall to open the kitchen to the living space. A 9-foot island with waterfall quartz countertops became the centerpiece. Custom shaker-style cabinets, under-cabinet LED lighting, a tile backsplash, and premium stainless appliances completed the transformation.
